Inspiring Women Event – March 5th

The upcoming event – Stories Inspire Passion Talks – promises to be a rich and inspiring afternoon. The Canadian Federation of University Women has organized 12 women from the Kootenays to speak to what inspires them in honour of International Women’s Day. I am excited to have been invited to speak about my own passions and to hear the stories from powerhouses Bessie Wapp, Deb Kozak, and Rona Park. There will be wine and tapas to celebrate and connect with everyone in attendance. The event is Saturday March 5th from 3-7PM at Mary Hall at the 10th Street Campus of Selkirk College. Tickets are on sale at Otter Books, Stuart News and Chahko Mika Mall.
