Conceiving Family was awarded Best Documentary Feature at the 7th Annual Women in Film Festival held at the VanCity Theatre in Vancouver, BC. Dancing with the Moon, a short animated documentary by local filmmaker, Katherine Pettit, was named Best Animation at the festival. These films premiered in Nelson together back in September 2011!
Also, we’re excited to share that Conceiving Family has been awarded the Royal Reel Award in Filmmaking at the Canadian International Film Festival.
